The problem

In the event of a fire inside the passenger compartment, the temperature near the pedal board can very quickly exceed the threshold of 500° C. In this case the pilot's feet can suffer significant damage, which can lead to loss of control of the aircraft. The noise emitted by the moving components of the engine penetrate inside the passenger compartment, greatly reducing the driver's comfort.

The solution

By covering the firewall with the Teknofibra® thermo-reflective panel, it is possible to drastically reduce the heat that is transmitted inside the passenger compartment. The reduced thickness of the Teknofibra® thermo-reflective panel allows it to be applied even in very narrow spaces while maintaining high performance. In the event of a fire, the temperature in the pedal area is greatly reduced, preventing the pilot from losing control of the aircraft. The Teknofibra® thermo-reflective panel, thanks to a wide range of thicknesses, allows to reduce the noise inside the passenger compartment by a variable percentage based on the thickness of the panel applied.
